The first time Ali encountered the ethereal sound of gongs she had a deep awakening experience. As the frequencies flowed through her, she felt the oneness of the universe and our shared being behind it. Understandably, this sparked an irresistible draw to comprehend the profundity of that experience.

Ali Laird is a qualified Sound Therapist and Sacred Sound Artist based in the Northern Rivers. She has deep passion for sound and how it assists in the exploration of our true nature. Specialising in the transformative resonance of gongs, Ali works with sound as a frequency felt through body and mind, inviting participants to surrender into sound as it quietens the mind and opens a doorway to deeper stillness and awareness. Her journey into sound healing has grown from a personal dedication to awakening, presence and deeper ways of being.
Ali has studied with the Australian Sound Healers Association, Sound Healing Australia and renowned Gong Master Leith James, and has co-facilitated in Overnight Gong Sound Puja Intensives on the Gold Coast. She continues to deepen her understanding and experience of sound through ongoing practice, research and exploration.
Sound Healing is Ali's way of sharing these experiences with others, of holding space for you to make realisations of your own. The beautiful frequencies that gongs sing out are unlike that of any other instrument. They are gateways to coming back into ourselves, accepting our present moment and moving into a deeper experience of love.
